We went to the Bagdad Cafe. This place was used in its movie since the real cafe is completely gone; Bagdad is an abandoned town west of here with no buildings left.

Calico Ghost Town

We went to an abandoned mining town in the Mojave that has been restored and renovated. With several original structures and mines left, it's open to the public. Ruby even came!

Dog Beach- Palo Alto

We stopped at a dog beach on the way to Palo Alto. Even though she hated the water, she had some fun playing in the sand and climbing rocks.

Pisgah Crater - Mojave Trip

Pisgah Crater (February 2018).

This crater, one of four in the Lavic Lava volcanic field, is off route 66 in an unincorporated town in the Mojave National Preserve.
